Is AngelList Stack Banking a bank account?
AngelList Stack Banking is a cash management account. Think of it as a one-stop shop for keeping all of your company’s finances organized. AngelList Venture is a financial technology company and is not a bank. Banking services provided by Blue Ridge Bank, N.A.; Member FDIC. The AngelList Stack Business Visa® Debit Card is issued by Blue Ridge Bank, N.A. pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. and may be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.
Can I log in directly through Blue Ridge Bank?
No. The only way to access your account is through your Stack dashboard. You can read more about logging in and connecting other accounts here.
Where are my funds held?
Funds are held in FDIC insured (up to $250,000) accounts.
Who are your banking partners?
We partner with Unit, Blue Ridge Bank, and Currency Cloud to provide banking for founders. You may see their company names on some of the documents you export from your dashboard.
All questions and service requests should come through Stack. Unit, Blue Ridge Bank, and Currency Cloud do not have accounts for Stack users and will not be able to provide support.

What is the APY on my account?
The Interest Rate on your account is 0.96% with an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 0.96%. The Interest Rates and Annual Percentage Yields are variable and may change at any time at our discretion.
What is the Rewards Program?
To be eligible for Rewards you must have an active AngelList Stack Deposit Account, agree to the terms of conditions of AngelList Stack, be a Delaware C Corporation, and must meet all of the following criteria:
You must use your AngelList Stack Business Deposit Account and AngelList Stack Business Debit Card to be eligible for rewards.
You must have received confirmation from AngelList Stack of your eligibility period for rewards.
Listed Rewards
AngelList Stack Software: Customers will receive access to the AngelList Stack suite of software services, including fundraising tools, offer portals, and cap table management. Access to the software is subject to the Terms & Conditions of the AngelList Stack software suite.
ATM Fee Reimbursements: Customers may receive up to four ATM fee reimbursements per calendar month for ATM transactions made on the AngelList Stack Business Debit Card. The reimbursement amount per transaction shall be determined solely by AngelList. To request a fee reimbursement, you must email AngelList within seven (7) business days of the ATM transaction with the amount of ATM fees charged.
Credits & Discounts: AngelList may offer credits and discounts to services offered by AngelList or external partners.
The terms and rewards of the program are subject to change. AngelList reserves the right to revoke your eligibility for rewards for any reason.
🖋 Application
How do I apply for banking?
If you are incorporating your company via AngelList Stack, your banking application is built into the Stack application process. We will automatically apply for an account on your behalf and it will be set up for you along with your dashboard.
If you are joining AngelList Stack post-incorporation, you can apply for Stack Banking via the banking tab in your dashboard.
Why is my banking application under review?
Sometimes this is due to insufficient or hard-to-read KYC documents. To avoid any delays, please ensure that your documents are in English and clearly scanned or photographed. Look at your banking tab within the Stack dashboard to check if there are any pending documents that you need to re-upload. Otherwise, feel free to reach out to the Stack team (stack@angellist.com) so we can help you troubleshoot.
💻 Account Management
How do I access my account?
Banking access for AngelList Stack Business Deposit Accounts and Debit Cards is operated entirely through AngelList Stack. Select Banking in the menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard. This is the only way to access the account. You cannot log in directly via the Blue Ridge Bank website.
How can I grant my team members permission for banking?
You can manage access to banking through Permissions, found under the Banking tab on your dashboard. To add a team member, click Grant Access at the top right-hand side. Once you fill out the form, the new user will receive an email with login instructions.
When adding a new user, you’ll have three choices for permission level.
Administrators have access to everything, include transfers, and can add new members to access banking section.
Editors/Managers can move funds and create cards, but cannot add new users.
Viewers have ready only access to all accounts.
To remove a user, click the three dots under the Action column next to their name and select Delete.
How do I find my account number and routing number?
You can find Accounts under the Banking tab. From there, select the account you need the information for. The information will be listed under Account Details - you can view the full account number by clicking the eye icon.
How do I create additional accounts?
By default you will start with one checking account however you can add more accounts, each with their own unique account numbers, if you'd like. This allows you to neatly separate different accounts by use case or purpose. One common usage is to create a new sub account for each fundraising round for easier tracking.
To create a new account, go to Accounts and click Open New Account on the top right hand side. Enter the name for the new account and click Create.

Can I attach receipts or add comments to specific transactions?
Sure can! Once you’re on the Transactions page (found under the Banking tab), select the transaction that you’d like to add to. From there, use the comment box on the right to make notes or attach receipts.
📡 Integrations
Can I link my account to other services using Plaid?
Yep! If you wish to link your user account to another service using Plaid, you can simply search for "AngelList Stack" as the institution name and follow the prompts to confirm your account.
You should not log in through Blue Ridge Bank.
How can I connect my account to Quickbooks?
To connect your Stack Banking account to Quickbooks, search for AngelList Stack as the banking institution. From there, you will be prompted to enter your phone number or login information to confirm your identity before the integration is completed.
Can I use my Stack account to connect to Zelle?
At this time, Zelle does not accept business accounts so you will not be able to send payments using your Stack account.
How do I add an external bank account?
To add an external bank account, use your menu to navigate to Company > Settings > Banking Information. From there, you will see the Add New Bank Detail button that will allow you to input the information.
