How do I activate international banking?
International banking is available under the Accounts section of your Banking Dashboard. You can create and open accounts with different currencies. Companies may use this feature to receive payments in different currencies either from local payment networks or SWIFT payments.
To activate it, you'll need to accept the terms and conditions.
NOTE: If you are a cryptocurrency or NFT-related company, please reach out to us first.
Are there fees associated with international banking?
USD Wires are available for free. FX Conversions are charged a small conversion fee of 1%.
🔀 Sending and Receiving Wires
How do I send an international wire?
Currently, you're only able to send USD international wires. To do so, you must first fund the United States Dollar account by selecting that account and clicking the Deposit USD button on the top right. It usually takes about one business day for those funds to show in this account.
Once the funds have been deposited, new buttons will appear which will allow you to deposit additional funds, move funds back to your domestic accounts, send outgoing SWIFT wires, or exchange currencies.
How do I receive an international wire?
From the Accounts tab, select the currency that you'd like to receive the international wire in. If the currency you're looking for is not listed, click the Add Currency button to select another available currency from the list.
Once you've selected the account that you'd like the wire to go to, you'll find the Incoming SWIFT Wire instructions on the left hand side of the screen to share with the sender.
Where can we find our SWIFT information for transfers?
Once you're in Accounts in the Banking tab, you can find your international currency accounts and select the one you'd like instructions for. You will find the Incoming SWIFT Instructions details below your account balance.
How long does it take to move funds between my international and domestic accounts?
Transfers between your international and domestic accounts can take a full business day to clear. Keep an eye on the transactions and let us know if the transfer still hasn't cleared after 24 hours.

What countries are restricted?
USD wires can be sent to banks in any country with the exception of the sanctioned regions, below.

*Due to the current military coup in Myanmar, all banks onshore have been instructed by the Myanmar Banks Association to remain closed. As the banking system is now offline, our banking provider is unable to process any payments to Myanmar until further notice.
What currencies can I send and receive funds in?
You can send international USD wires to recipients in any country outside of the restricted list above.
The full list of currencies you can receive is available in your Accounts tab. If the currency you're looking for is not listed, click the Add Currency button to select another available currency from the list.
What countries can I receive funds from?
You can receive funds sent from over 180 different countries over the local or SWIFT payment rails. NOTE: The countries/territories marked with an asterisk are not available by default. Please contact stack@angellist.com if you plan on receiving payments from these countries.
